Slow down before applying your Brakes:

If you note your daily driving habits, research shows that you will note the following. You apply brakes when you are near to where you have to stop or till where you have to slow down. Alternatively if you leave/put less pressure on the accelerator and slow down your car before you apply your brakes, you are increasing the life of your brake pad by making a very small change in your driving habits. This is also a safer option as your reliance on your brakes will become less as you will be slowing down before coming to a stop, leading to minimal damage even in the rare case of an accident. Invest in Good Quality Brake Pads

Very obvious but this is very rare in our society. We buy brake pads that would save us a small amount of cost but we do not realize that the damage the low quality parts can cause is too high to take a risk. The principle is same as new shock absorbers.
